Extra Life Edmonton hosted their first in-person Game Day event in a number of years on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the West Edmonton Mall Ice Palace. The event brings the local gaming community together to do good – raising money for the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
While the Edmonton Extra Life guild hosts fundraisers throughout the year, Game Day is their largest annual event where gamers can play in-person or at home for 25 straight hours to collect donations for the Foundation. All money raised through Extra Life supports urgent needs at the Stollery. This includes specialized equipment, programs, training and research that helps kids from backyards across Alberta.
