Improving access and patient outcomes
Stollery families deserve a space that provides an exceptional experience.
As our population expands, and the demand on our health-care system continues to increase, the Stollery Surgery Clinic can’t keep up with its limited space and aging infrastructure. Currently located in the Clinical Sciences Building, the clinic sees more than 40,000 patients each year, serving children
and their families from all over Western Canada and beyond.
Building a new state-of-the-art clinic means that Stollery families will finally have a space that matches the world-class level of care.
We’re excited to announce that planning is finally underway to build the new Stollery Surgery Clinic on the 5th floor of the KAYE Edmonton Clinic, scheduled to open in 2026. This clinic will create a safer environment, place a greater focus on family-centred care and allow more surgeons to see more patients, providing solutions sooner. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation is committed to raising $13 million over four years to support this project.
